Carol Kennedy was inspired to write this memoir as it unfolded through a series of extreme life
events. She is an honors graduate of Rutgers University who created a successful career in
banking software. She transferred to the travel industry after earning an M.S. from New York
University. She lives in Stamford, CT with her husband, John, and is the mother of three adult sons.
She currently works as a geriatric companion and is an active volunteer in her parish.
